Photography and Globalization. In cooperation with the Swiss Foundation for Photography.

How can photography convey images of an abstract state of affairs such as globalization? A podium discussion with the photographers Ziyo Gafic, Thomas Kern, Andreas Seibert, Stefan Vanfleteren and Martin Gasser, Swiss Foundation for Photography, Peter Pfrunder, Director of the Swiss Foundation for Photography, and Jamie Shea, Deputy Assistant Secretary General for External Relations, Public Diplomacy Division, NATO. Moderator: Daniel Schwartz, Project Curator.

Literature and Photography. In cooperation with the Zurich Literature House and the Swiss Foundation for Photography.

What opportunities for understanding the phenomenon of globalization do literature and photography offer? Where do the differences lie? Readings and subsequent discussion with the writers Malin Schwerdtfeger, Robert Menasse and Feridun Zaimoglu. Moderator: Klaus Wagenbach, publisher.
