Somewhere from Nowhere
China, Pearl River Delta: 21st-century megalopolis

The future belongs to the city. By 2020 it is predicted that two thirds of the world’s population will be living in cities. In the south Chinese Pearl River Delta, a megalopolis is taking shape whose dimensions will exceed anything that has ever been seen before. There are already between 40 and 50 million people living in this massive conurbation, which is being developed as a bridgehead between the national Chinese economy and that of the world market.
