Bosnia-Herzegovina: recovery from war

From ecological catastrophe to that of war. The war in Bosnia has been described as a throwback to the nationalism of the 19th century, but without the influence of trans- and supranational resources, it could never have happened. The international community, the media, and sympathetic states had as much to do with this conflict as diasporas and religious communities.
